That is why, at Crossroads Inn & Suites, we put our best foot forward to make sure that we are Clean It Right certified by educating our team on the new cleaning procedures and best practices provided by Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador.

The “Clean It Right” program by HNL provides thorough information on the various elements of sanitization, including:

• Identifying potential areas of a property/business that require cleaning and disinfecting or sanitizing
• Understanding the importance of increased cleaning maintenance and the impact if it is not consistently performed at a safe level
• Using the right cleaning and disinfecting steps per area by re-visiting current standards of practice

In addition to educating our staff on the proper cleaning techniques and best practices, the Clean It Right program also raises awareness and educates us on the:

• Types of cleaning solutions
• Difference between cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting
• Consequences of not cleaning properly
• Areas to be cleaned and disinfected
• Frequency of cleaning

By completing this training to become Clean It Right certified we are confident that we can provide you with an experience that is clean, comfortable, and most importantly, safe.
